Greeting card 2019 of the Monnaie de Paris

This drawing represents the palace of the Monnaie de Paris. The central door of the palace is in the middle, with two cornucopias at the top, which are one of the institution’s emblems. Another important symbol of French institution, two statues of «Lady Fortune» framing the entrance door of the building. At the bottom of the drawing are two lions as seen on several doors of the palace, and in the centre, the national order of the Legion of Honour, an emblematic decoration of the French Republic, created during Napoleon I’s ruling, which manufacture is exclusively handled by the Monnaie de Paris.
