Illustrations éditoriales pour Le Temps – rubrique Constellations

Réalisation de quatre illustrations éditoriales pour Le Temps, premier quotidien francophone de Suisse, dans le cadre de la rubrique culturelle Constellations.

Cette page, située en dernière du journal, propose un portrait visuel et éditorial d’une personnalité suisse ou internationale qui fait l’actualité culturelle. Chaque illustration est pensée comme une synthèse graphique, mêlant narration visuelle, symboles et éléments biographiques.

Les quatre illustrations réalisées mettent en lumière des figures issues de différents domaines culturels :

•Laure Adler – Figure majeure du paysage culturel français, journaliste, productrice et essayiste, représentée à travers des éléments évoquant son engagement intellectuel et médiatique.

•Marguerite – Chanteuse révélée par la Star Academy, incarnant une nouvelle génération d’artistes, avec une illustration construite autour de son univers musical et scénique.

•Thierry Jobin – Directeur du Festival international du film de Fribourg, mis à l’honneur à l’occasion du 50e anniversaire du festival, avec une composition évoquant le cinéma et son rôle de passeur culturel.

•Jean Lermier – Directeur du Théâtre de Carouge, figure importante de la scène théâtrale suisse, représenté à travers des éléments liés à la mise en scène et à l’espace théâtral.

Chaque illustration intègre des détails visuels spécifiques, en écho au parcours, à l’univers et à l’identité de chaque personnalité, dans une approche d’illustration éditoriale à la fois narrative et conceptuelle.

Ce projet s’inscrit dans une pratique d’illustration pour la presse, où l’image vient dialoguer avec le texte pour proposer une lecture sensible, synthétique et contemporaine de l’actualité culturelle.

Editorial illustrations for Le Temps – Constellations section

Creation of four editorial illustrations for Le Temps, the leading French-language daily newspaper in Switzerland, as part of the cultural section Constellations.

Located on the last page of the newspaper, this section features a visual and editorial portrait of a Swiss or international personality making cultural news. Each illustration is conceived as a visual synthesis, combining storytelling, symbolic elements and biographical references.

The four illustrations highlight figures from various cultural fields:
• Laure Adler – A major figure in the French cultural landscape, journalist, producer and essayist, portrayed through elements reflecting her intellectual and media engagement.
• Marguerite – A singer revealed through Star Academy, representing a new generation of artists, illustrated through elements inspired by her musical and stage universe.
• Thierry Jobin – Director of the Fribourg International Film Festival, featured on the occasion of the festival’s 50th anniversary, with a composition referencing cinema and his role as a cultural curator.
• Jean Lermier – Director of the Théâtre de Carouge, an important figure in the Swiss theatre scene, depicted through elements related to stage direction and theatrical space.

Each illustration incorporates specific visual details echoing the background, universe and identity of each personality, within an approach to editorial illustration that is both narrative and conceptual.

This project is part of a broader practice of illustration for the press, where images interact with text to offer a sensitive, concise and contemporary reading of cultural news.
